A36 Bourne Way to Ower roundabout full overnight closures for road maintenance works
Monday 12 December to Saturday 17 December 2022
National Highways operates, maintains and improves England’s motorways and major A-roads. This email is to let you know we will shortly be carrying out essential maintenance works on the A36 from Bourne Way roundabout to Ower roundabout.
The work will start on the evening of Monday 12 December and finish on the morning of Saturday 17 December and will take place overnight between the hours of 9pm and 5am.
To minimise disruption, we’ll work on weeknights only when there are fewer vehicles on the road. During the day we will keep the road open as usual.
The work is currently programmed as follows:
- Monday 12 December to Saturday 17 December - full overnight closure on weeknights from Bourne Way roundabout to Ower roundabout for 5 nights from 9pm until 5am the following morning.
There will be a fully signed diversion route in place during the full overnight closures but please allow extra time for your journey.
Access for residents will be maintained but may involve a short delay depending on our stage of work. Please show a copy of this postcard to our gatemen who will escort you through the works if necessary.
We’ll make every effort to ensure the impact on the local community and travelling public is kept to a minimum. We always aim to work to the programme, however unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions may mean changes. Please monitor www.trafficengland.com to keep updated.
